Letter 11

My Sweet Girl,

Hi, sweetheart. I’ve been thinking about you so much lately. I wonder how you’re doing, what new things you’re learning, and if you’re still singing those sweet little songs that used to make my heart so happy. I miss hearing your voice and seeing your big, bright smile.

Today, I was thinking about one of my favorite memories with you. You were just a tiny baby, about 6 months old, when I took you on a special trip with me to visit Grandpa Great. We flew all the way to New Mexico together. You were absolutely perfect—so calm and happy at the airport, and just as sweet on the plane. But the part I remember most is how you held my hand during the flight. You sat there in your little car seat, looking up at me with those big, beautiful brown eyes, smiling so sweetly. I can still feel your tiny fingers wrapped around mine if I close my eyes and imagine. It’s a feeling I’ll never forget, and one I hope to feel again very soon.

I’ve been holding that memory close to my heart, just like I hold you in my heart every single day. I can’t wait until we can make more memories like that. Until then, I’ll keep thinking of you, writing to you, and sending you all my love.

You are so loved, my darling girl. No matter what, Nana is always cheering you on and sending you hugs and kisses from my heart to yours. I hope you can feel them, even when we’re apart.

Always and forever,
Nana ❤️
